Before Maid In Collingwood, I lived in Toronto and attended UofT and obtained my BA, Econ. After graduating, I decided to go into Real Estate and joined Canada Permanent in their Bayview office. The market was difficult at that time, interest rates were in the 20's and people were losing their homes. I decided to head out of dodge and landed in Collingwood. I was a Mortgage Broker for many years which I loved doing but when I became a single parent, I knew I couldn't keep up with the crazy hours, so Maid In Collingwood was born in 1993.

At that time, there were a handful of cleaning companies and I found that none of them offered really good quality, detailed services. Customers wanted more than a surface clean and I decided to make that my market. I cleaned homes myself for many years and eventually implemented training programs for the staff and turned my attention to running the business. In 2006 I lead the way converting to eco-friendly products, refillable bottles and microfiber cleaning cloths. We live in such a beautiful area, it only made sense that we do our part to keep it that way

In 2012 I took the courses needed to obtain my Real Estate License once again. I never lost my interest in it and always hoped I would be a part of it again. I look forward to offering this added service to my customers and friends.

Outside of work I golf at Osler Brook Golf course,  I ski at Beaver Valley Ski Club and I try to get in some tennis and hiking when I can. Whenever possible I like to be outside enjoying all this fabulous area has to offer.
